Hi does anyone know if female zebras are aggressive towards other female zebras?
I just got 2 females and a male in the same cage (for now) one of the females keeps pecking and chasing the other one.

I believe that this is what is called competition. The one female has called the male for herself, and now has to shoo the other away. 3 is an uneaven number, never a good thing unless they are all of the same sex.

Even in a cage with female Zebras only - there can be 'hen pecking' or plucking between them.

Yeah
I removed one and left the one the male has bonded to.
Looks like I might have to get another male later on

You did right.
Just for FYI, I have my females separate from my males, to control unwanted population growth. Some of my females have been VERY aggressive to the other females. Some were SO bad that I had to send a few of them to the bird shop. I recently had a pair that essentially plucked another female to death. When I noticed her, she was BADLY plucked. I put her into a hospital cage to get her away from that pair and recover in peace, but she did not make it thru the night.
