Missing feathers
One of my zebra finches, Han, doesn't have any feathers on his butt. He had feathers there before and my other zebra finch, Luke, does. I am worried that there might be something wrong with him. Is this normal?

Re: Missing feathers
Are they at the base of his back, just above the tailbar markings? If so then Luke is probably plucking out Han's feathers. If it's around the vent area then he might be having problems with runny poop and pulling out his own feathers, which could be caused by any number of things.

Re: Missing feathers
Luke could be pucking the Han's butt.
I have had zebras with their butts plucked.
Separate them and feed Han lots of egg, and you will see those feathers grow back in a few weeks.
