I traded some with him a year back.

If you live close it does not harm to stop by to see his birds. If possible I would come to see his set up and to pick my birds rather than have them shipped.

Where are you located?

I'm about an hour away from him (thousand oaks). I was gonna meet him at some public place like starbucks or something ( I'm a girl we worry about these things). I just wanna know if he has decent quality birds. It's hard to see the birds well in his picture. But they look ok. And of course I'm taking his word for the fact they are split to blue.

Thanks for you info,
cici

Is it possible to go with a friend? It is always a great advantage to visit the facilities from where the birds are. You can learn how they are kept, foods that they eat, etc. The people that have visited my aviary really enjoyed knowing where their new pet came from. Also you get to pick the ones you want :D

I think you should go with a friend to see yourself, make sure you can come daytime because I think he works 7 days.

I think nobody in the area has them accept him, so if you give it a shot, quarantine them straight 1 month. You will know what I mean when you see the birds.

My best breeder male comes from him, and it is split as he stated. So far he is the only one who was honest to me about the split, accept my buddy.

Good luck

Well now Candace I would love to visit your operation if I was buying a bird or not! I'm not sure my husband would let me! I might get ideas:)

     Too funny. My husband had a handyman and he actually hired him to help build some of the aviaries and planter boxes. The handy man said I would love to bring my wife over to see this garden and bird house but I would never do it. I was puzzled and asked him why not? He said...she would get ideas and want me to build this for her too.
