I might have to take my birds back because of a suspected mite problem. I just brought them home last night and they have a 14 day guarantee.
If I take the birds back, and before I get another pair, what do I use to disinfect the cage? Do I disinfect everything that's been in the cage? (perches, toys, cuttlebone holder, feed/water cups, nest, swing) And how do I do it?

Yes, I'd disinfect all items using Focus pet cleaner or a mix of bleach and water, then let it dry in the sun outside.

Re: How to disinfect?
I would use a 50/50 solution of bleach/water. Just make sure you rinse everything really well before setting it to dry in the sun. You might consider getting birds from a different source, as the other birds from this shop might be infected as well. So sorry things aren't working out as planned. Don't give up...it will all be worth it when you finally find your forever babies

Thanks Ginene. I'll disinfect their cage this weekend. My luck kinda turned...I am in contact with a breeder and she has 2 kinds of Zebras for rehoming (Whites and Pieds)...12 males in all. Hopefully I'll be able to do this all on the same day this weekend.

4Ellen...that's great news! Just be sure to disinfect/rinse everything that your original birds came in contact with. Best of luck with your new birds! Can't wait to see pics
