When to bed/ when to rise?

Post by Harley2013 » Sun Sep 28, 2014 10:48 pm

My timer goes off about 6:00 PM and back on about 7:00AM is this a good time for sleep and day simulation? I know this needs to be adjusted as the season changes but do not know when exactly to set timer.

~My guys get up when I get downstairs, usually between 7 and 8 give or take. Lights come on to a chorus of meeps and beeps and trills and chirps as soon as I say Goodmorning Chickadees.
~Bedtime is usually around 7 to 8 pm, when I turn off their lights. There is still a small light on in the kitchen, but they know that once cage lights are off, it's bed time.

Do you adjust as seasons change or just leave it consistent as what you have it year around.

It's pretty much the same year around. In the Summer of course we have longer natural daytime hours, so then they have more hours of natural light.
