Im looking for a good general bird forum

Post by Strickalator » Mon Dec 08, 2008 12:55 pm

 I would like to register and post at a general bird forum, a real good one that covers the gauntlet of common pet birds and exotic birds. Does anyone know of some good places?

Just messing with ya Shawn.

I too am interested in a lot of avians. I am a Master Falconer, although I haven't had Raptors in a long time. I used to have Macaws, Amazons, Cockatiels and Love Birds, but I've limited my 'kids' to finches and felines, and a few Koi.

Just want to give them the time they deserve.

**bow to the master falconer** so jealous! Birds with large beaks have always scared me, I am just too attached to my fingers. But I absotultely a love the idea of working with raptors of some sort (have to get over the attachment I guess). I would love to have a great horned owl or a barn owl to work with. I like Osprey too but from what I understand they aren't a good choice for the hobby because of their feeding habits. I would kill to be able to work with a really large bird of prey like a harpy or golden eagle...what kinds of birds did you work with?
