Ethanol-burning fireplaces
Has anyone here successfully used an ethanol-burning fireplace in the same room as their birds without problems? I know to avoid most types of flames -- including candles and traditional wood-burning fireplaces in a home with birds, but I'm wondering if this new bio-fuel (see below) may pose the same risk. Thoughts

Currently the parent of 4 Gouldian males: 1 RH PB Normal, 1 RH WB Normal, 1 BH PB Normal and a YH LB BB. Have kept Gouldians since Oct. 2010 and raised 3 chicks with a former pairing of the RH PB GB I still have and a hen that I later traded (pair seen in avatar).
