Tips on moving

Post by Harley2013 » Sat Feb 28, 2015 8:53 am

I have a double flight, 8 finches. What is the best way to transport them? Confine them, and then break down or not break down cage? I'm sitting here looking at this monstrosity wondering how I plan on doing this.

If you can move the flight cage without breaking it down, that would be best. I take it you mean moving from one house to another? I would put the 8 birds in small travel cages. With the species you have, I would prefer to put the Gouldians in one, Zebras in another, and Goldfinches in another, but then I have a collection of those small cages that birds come in at marts, so I can easily separate species.
