sexing gouldian

got myself 2 gouldians but cant identify which is male and female...newbie

I'm not good at sexing Gouldians either, but there are other members who will be able to help you. I did look at the photos, and they are beautiful birds! Do you have others?

Welcome to the forum! There's lots of good reading at www.finchinfo.com, where you will find many articles on finch care and especially the Gouldian finch. If you put your general location in your profile, it makes it easier to answer locale-specific questions later on. If you check out the NEW USERS START HERE section, it will tell you how to post photos directly in your post, which will make it easier for members to see them.

Finally got back to my computer, easier then the phone at times :wink:

First one is a RH.LB (or dirty WB) SF Pastel male
Second one is a BH.WB Green hen
