breeders permit or beeders liscense

Post by josh1810 » Tue Oct 13, 2015 7:20 pm

Does anyone know how i can obtain a permit or liscense to sell my birds ? I live in Alabama, and havent found any information on it really. Some websites require you to have them when buying birds in bulk.

Every state is different, so you would need to check with Alabama state government to see what might be required. Texas doesn't require a license or permit, and I've never needed one to order birds, but perhaps you are wanting to wholesale order them.

You will want to contact either the Fish and Wildlife Department or the Agriculture Department.

Well i have a friend that buys birds for her own collection, sometimes i will buy with her. Well they let her have them at wholesale prices. Well she is always out of town. so if i wanted to do the same i could withour having to always have her. It would be easier and i dont want to have to bother her all the time with it. I called and they said no i have to have a permit to get their wholesale prices.
