Are my Gouldians Molting this time of year ?
It appears my Gouldian boys are Molting. Is this possible this time of year ?

if they are indoors they can molt anytime of the year. Now would be a great time to offer boiled egg and crushed eggshells daily. They need the protein and calcium to build new feathers.
One of my females didn't finish her molt until late October.

I have 4 Gouldians... and of course, they All moult at different times... once I think the feathers are done.... NOPE the next one starts.... then he finishes, and I'm done cleaning up feathers for a while, and offering up the extra food, and sprouted seed, ... a few weeks with a break, and the other one decides it's time... LMAO (i know they don't "decide") But I wonder sometimes. if they do it just to mess with me... I keep saying one of these molts I'm going to keep the feathers and mke my self Gouldian Down Jacket....
