I am very sorry this didn't work out for you. You are right, they are very fragile and so hard to manipulate whenthat young. Hope the parents raise this new clutch and happy moving

So sorry the little ones didn't make it. I once emailed a woman who is known for raising handfed finches, asking for help. She said that she killed many babies before she was successful. The food can be too hot or too cold, too little or too much, temperature of brooder not right, not enough humidity--and then they get bacterial, fungal, or yeast infections. It is not easy, so good for you for trying--that is all you can do.
