Yes, I have also put hang-on baths in the dishwasher (lower rack) and forgotten to turn off the heat element for the dry cycle--bathtubs come out all warped.

Oh, thanks for the reminder. I will hold the hair dryer far enough away on a lower setting. I have made the mistake of putting things on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and having them warp a little also. Nothing worse then a tipsy water bowl or a tupperware lid that is wavy!

I checked the tracking for the seed hoppers...they will be here tomorrow. I can't wait to try them. Funny how the little things in life get you so excited!!!!!

UPDATE!!!!

The seedhoppers arrived, HOORAY!!! DANCE DANCE!!!

I rinsed them in a diluted bleach and water and rinsed well, I am air drying them. I also turned a small fan on them to help dry them completely, I want to fill them and add them to the cage this evening when I feed everyone.

Evening update ~ the fan drying system works great. I just got an ABBA Seed catalog. They sell the same feeder for $4.50. That is cheaper than I have seen anywhere else. They have othe cages and supplies also.

Later that night: I put the hoppers in...Goldbreast are scared to death of them and for the first time the St. Helenas are quiet and puzzled. The owls...they are just to cute for words. The bold male hopped right down and was standing on it checking the seed out. He later found out you can tap dance on the lid. The other pair had a very detailed conversation while standing in front of it, then hopped on it and went to the seed bowl. The bold male is still tap dancing on the hoppers lid. If anything it is entertaining.

Later later that night....the one owl male is eating out of the feeder!
