Cat attack, what about the mate?

Post by chaserlewkis13 » Sun Aug 30, 2009 1:30 pm

my lil brothers spice finch got out of its cage today and my kitten got ahold of it, it is still alive but fading, if the worst should happen, should we get a new friend for its mate or wait a little while. If we do get a new one how do we make sure they are opposite sexes....

Thank you,
Chason

Sadly, he just died, =( but i was informed by my lilbro that both birds made the male calling noise, so i guess it dosnt really matter what sex they are as long as it has company )=)

No visible way of telling. You would have to catch the male singing to be sure.
