exchanging info with someone else on the forum

Post by star » Fri Oct 09, 2009 12:23 pm

I am not good with computers and how to do all the stuff. I'm surprised I can even work this site! My question is how to give another forum member my email without giving it to everyone? is this even possible? I may be able to split shipping cost on ordering birds with another member that lives in the same state as I do.

Star, use the little PM key with the birds on it. If you go to the the topic site, go to the author column and click on the name. It will take you right to the person's info. The PM key looks like it had a little bird with a black cap and an owl finch, click on that and you can send on a personal message. To recieve and reply you can go through the user control panel.

I agree, it is much better to PM than to email. Then you can PM the person your email address, if you wish, and it doesn't become public knowledge on here.
