My Owl Finch lost its friend need advice :(

hootowl...I hate to be a downer...but if you're going to get a new addition, be sure to quarantine it before putting it with your owl (or any other birds). Many people have brought new birds in and have lost existing birds due to an unknown illness the new addition was carrying. Many people do a 30 day quarantine...I usually do 90 unless I am purchasing from a breeder that I know. A good misting with a mite/lice spray is a good idea too. Good luck .

Ahh good advice, I already know my Gouldine is ok and healthy. Perhaps I should try this pairing first and see how they get along.
I will try this for a couple days and see how they get along.

Thank you , I am happy to report they both are loving the time together. It also appears the Gouldian is more happy with his new room mate then when he was with the Zebra Finches.
