Yup...all of my birds have names. My son and I brainstormed about the names for most of them. My hubby named his pair and their 1 baby (Green Singers) and delray actually named my Owl pair :) We have the habit of naming every living creature in our daily lives...from the morning doves, to the squirrels.

Yes, I usually pick according to what fits them, but my newest I asked my preschoolers at work for help in naming them, nothing really stuck!

I have 2 male gouldins, Taz and Dingo ( austrailan names)
2 male zebras ( Prot and K-Pax) from the movie K-Pax ( husband named) and I have 2 European Goldfinches( Mr. Hootie and Jinga) preschoolers named them.
Tammie (ME!);D

Harley (Red-factor canary)~ RIP my songbird ~5/4/14
Franklin & Olive ( budgie)
Lou (19 year old son)
Tanner (24 year old son)
Love of my life Lou Jr.

My two female zebra's are Thelma & Louise.
The movie was on the first day we got the pair and we liked the names.
Two feisty ladies :D

Mine are:

*Kevin aka “The Old Man” – very cranky canary – 13 years old and rules the Roost!
*Beaky aka “Beaky Beak” the Zebrafinch – 1 year old – and a real, real cutie!!!
*Merlin aka “Merl” the Starfinch – 3 ½ years old – and “bossy as anything for such a small fry!”
