Re: Finch injured it's toe :( help!
Thanks for all your concerns.
My finch girl still looks the same even I cleaned her toes with water and reapplied the ointment. The dried blood with cornstarch still not able to come out, so I don't want stress her more by holding her too long. I will wait and see what happen, she still eating ok by one foot standing even I put the food on the ground level in the cage.
Apparently her left foot still hidden under her belly and can't parallel, is there more things I can do to help? I placed everything as low as possible and covered her with towel tonight before she went sleep. I think the heated lamp too warm for her since she tried perch on different place since I used the lamp yesterday. I think the bleeding area is pretty deep, otherwise why she looks still in pain even pretend not so much from her
I will observe more and see what happen tomorrow.
It was very difficult to take this pic at the same time don't want to hurt her foot, by held her on left hand and used right hand took the pic, hope you can see the pic get the idea what's going on with her currently. As you can see the pic, the dark color is part of dried-blood, and cornstarch, which so hard already on her foot. I guess used too much cornstarch yesterday when tried to help her stopped bleeding, I was thinking not hurt to use more rather than not enough, which will lead her to be more serious or bleeding more in seconds.
I really hope her foot can recover fully, since her middle toe still moving today when stick it out even so much painful still.
I feel like knife in my heart when I see her suffering since she's too little to handle the pain.
I don't know what else I can do now...any more suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Re: Finch injured it's toe :( help!
That looks like it may be very very bruised possibly. Depending on severity, she could lose that toe possibly. But birds adapt very well with missing toes and feet. I'm sure Lovezebs or Mia will have more advice or a better understanding of what more to do for her injury.

Re: Finch injured it's toe :( help!
Thanks Harley2013,
I sure hope my sweet girl will be ok, I didn't want this happen at all, if I stayed home on the day of incident, this can be avoidable since I never allow them fight worth each other. Good thing is she still eating ok and only used one leg mostly, perhaps close her eyes to rest, guess little pain for her still
