lovezebs , you mention amy's taking a long time to colour up, i've a seagreen cock the same, i made the mistake of moving him from the juvenile flight to the batchellor flight before he'd finished moulting as i'd seen him thrill, this stalled his moult, all his siblings and even younger siblings finished moult months ago but this poor guy's mask is still only partly coloured. He's 5 months old and has been in same state of moult since i moved him 2 months ago.

Hi
It's actually Alfie that is taking forever to colour up, or it seems that way anyhow.
I don't know how old or young he/she is. I got him from an out of town breeder on Sep. 11, 2014. At the time , the breeder told me he was very young. I think he was a baby not long weaned. The breeder checked the bit of colour at his throat and assured me that he definitely was a young male.
He appeared to be very healthy and as cute as can be and the price was quite reasonable, so.... he came home with me, along with three yellow Stars (2f and 1m) and a pretty Society girl. The Stars have since coloured up nicely, but this little boy, well, he's taking his time.
I hope your guy gets his colours soon, as well as my guy.
