Hi debbie276,

Our breeding season isnt over yet apparently. It looks like we have at least another 7 hatchlings in 3 nests. And one of the hatchlings is in the new nesting box I made out of some old plywood.

I had an interesting thing happen in the avairy... I was walking past the it last week and noticed a hatchling on the floor of the avairy wriggling away. So I went in, picked the little tike up and put it in one of the two nests with hatchlings. Only to realise that it came from the other nest... ohh well... these guys foster hatchlings so well.

Our Finches and our poodle supply me with an never ending amount of therapy for my stress related depression. Sitting there, throwing the ball for the dog while watching the finches is the best thing ever.
