We have 3 goldfinches sharing an aviary with 20+ canaries. The canaries eggs and sometimes new born chics have 'disappeared' from the nests regularly lately. Don't know if the canaries or goldfinches are responsible. Would this be behaviour more typical of goldfinches or more likely to be one of the canaries?
Any reason why they might do this and can anything be done to stop them?
