Egg Food
I have been putting Egg Food in the cage and the male seems to be the only one to eat it. Do you think my female will eventually take a liking to it?

Re: Egg Food
Is it dry egg food?
If you have not given them egg food before it can take a few feedings for them/her to start testing it out and later eat it. My finches eat a little bit of dry egg food put prefer fresh boiled eggs.
Even with the boiled eggs, it took my birds a little while to start liking it. But now they love it!

Re: Egg Food
I guess I spoke to soon they LOVE it! the male tried it first and then she soon followed. I use boiled eggs and use a blender type machine to mix the shell and eggs together. Those darn ants are annoying though.
