how to find finch breeders in my local area?

i have no idea where to start to find out, i would like to know where to find out as the past two birds i bought from the pet shop have been quite ill and would prefer to get them from a breeder and see them? (can you do that?) im really uninformed on this stuff.

it probably a really stupid question. ive just searched bird breeders in lincoln on google and thats the extent of my ideas.

For info in the UK you want to go on 'Feathered Flyer' UK forum for finches...If it's zebras you're interested in Google the 'Zebra Finch Society UK'
There is a big bird show at Newark Showground I think early November...well worth a visit and very near you.You can google for details.
