English Ivy...One Says 'Toxic'...another says 'Not Toxic'

So does anybody know for sure if English Ivy is Toxic or not? :?:

I ask this question because I have an English Ivy that I wanted to put on top of my new finch cage even though I already have some artificial ones there and I know the Zebras love picking at them.

I had read in "The Finch Handbook" that said English Ivy was acceptable in an Aviary.

Then I looked at other websites and a couple listed them as being a toxic plant....so now I don't know what to think.

This one listed it as toxic

This really concerns me because there are very different listings by website as to which are safe or not...many crossovers listed. It makes it hard to make a good choice.

If anybody has some opinions on this I would love to hear. And especially if you DO use English Ivy in your aviary or cage.
