Lonley Finch. Help!

My Society Finch, is a few years old now. She has out both of the other finches we have had. Now that my last finch has died She seems really lonley. For the fist day she kept calling for the Spice finch.

I play videos of singing finches of youtube and she calls back to them.
I don't really want another finch. I want a more "hands on" bird.
But is there anything I can do for my lonley Society?

Wouldn't be a good idea to put a lovebird with a society, or any other finch. You might be able to keep them together in separate cages. Other than that your society will be lonely. It wouldn't hurt to get him/her a new friend would it?

Either that or find a "bird friend" with finches to adopt her. You can always fit another society finch in!

Well I didn't mean putting the lovebird in with her. I jsut want to get one because I love birds.

And I don't know if I can get another finch. My parents know I want a lovebird and are very picky on how many of a certian type of animals I have. Like my mom says no more mice and no more hermit crabs.

My friend's grandma has Zebra finches but I heard she keeps then in small cages. :?

If you have a larger cage you could offer your cage. Just make sure she uses it.

Even if you don't want to give the bird and your cage to that lady, I'm sure you can find someone. There are plenty of people on this forum, for one.
