I'm doing it. I'm totally in love with socieities and gouldians. Other than that, if I had the room I'd love a pair of owls, or if I really stretched some parrot finches.

As someone who has NO birds right now, I keep dreaming about Gouldians and Goldbreasted Waxbills and a pair of societies (just because).
I can SO see a cage with a pair of Gouldians and GB waxbills in my living room, see, right there, and I want it!
The gouldian breeder is very busy and has lots of eggs and he wants me to wait a bit before I visit.
The local petstore has a pair of GB waxbills that are beyond adorable!
I keep thinking that I should get the waxbills now and they can be in a sep cage. Wouldn't get the others for at least a month, and then I can get the big cage (Beccafigs) and put the gouldians and socities in it and when the time is right move the waxbills in.
Whew! Thanks for listening, it helps me calm down to spell it out.

I would love to have Owl finches. Sigh, someday. . .
I'm also fond of Gouldians, European Goldfinches, and Blue Capped Cordon Bleus.

Wow, that is high for parrot finches! I've seen them for half that price.

I would have to say Pekin Robins. They are beautiful little birds. If you haven't seen them here's a link to a pic and some info.

I immediately fell in love when I saw them for the first time!
