Two pairs of Zebras in a cage can lead to territorial squabbles. It is best to have one pair to a cage, or 3+ pairs to a cage. If you have to keep the two pairs together, just watch for any problems. It is always best to have at least as many nests as you have pairs, and many people provide at least one extra nest.

i had the same thing going on with mine 2 pairs fighting. so i got another pair. but now it was too crowded with three nest in a samll cage and 6 birds co i ended up building a flight cage for them and now i have 8 pairs and like 4 extra nests and about 17 eggs total, and a pair of quails who are on there 9th egg and this all in a matter of a week of being in the flight cage together.
