I noticed now that since the last time they had eggs in the nest ( the first time but we never had small ones) since that now they are all of a sudden a LOT in that old breeding box together, they never did this before but since this last and first attempt of hatching eggs they are now a LOT together in the box, is this normal?

This is a great sign!

The first time they were probably young and inexperienced and did not incubate the eggs (sit on them.) This time they should rear a family! If they are both in the nest box then well they are eager beavers or finches?..

Anyway provide baths to increase the humidity and provide eggfood and maybe some live food if available!

Sounds promising. They are probably settling in now and feel more comfortable.

Well................ I looked in the roof today, I made a tiny hole to see in ( the old av) and what do you know she already has another egg, man they are fast workers - it was not in that nest yesterday, but they when together always sleep upstairs in the wicker basket at night between the platform and the roof - he made a nice nest log ago up high, and she laid one up top, so....... lets see now what gives, if they now stop in the original nest box and sit more on top........ man these bird dynamics will force me to start JOURNAL #2 today.......
I had a suspicion something was up this morning BECAUSE they always come down at first light to eat, and he did but NOT her, and a lot of talking... so - amazing how we get to know our birds and the ways, something is off and you know......
Lets see from now what happens, I wanted to give them the new home, but they never gave me a chance, its built and in the workshop..

Ah great news! Hopefully this time they get it right.
And it just gives you more time to perfect the mansion. You might just have some youngsters to move over as well
