Does anyone know a website that sells nesting material in abundance at a reasonable price?

What kind of nesting material? Grass, cotton pods, horse hair, bermuda hay, coconut fiber, etc. You looking for something specific?
If you just want A LOT....get a bale of Bermuda hay!

I have a package of exactly what you're talking about.
My birds hate the stuff! I bought mine from the internet. 500grams was $15 bucks. BEVO was the brand.

I've found that the nesting material varies with species. My African waxbills use coco fiber almost exclusively, with a lining of white feathers. Fairestfinches has something called manilla that was used by my Fire finches to build their own nest. Many of the others use Bermuda hay. I offer a choice of things, till I see what each pair will use.

Yeah, for my zebras and societies they use everything i put in there. i want to get coco fiber becasue my waxbills seem to like it but there wasnt enough to build the nest they usually bild. Fairest finches is 100g of coco fiber a lot? Like i need a lot of coco fiber and jute for sure.

Hi, J!
Typically, 100 g of coco fiber is enough for a pair of waxbills to build two nests. While we don't advertise it on our website, we do sell coco fiber in 333 g sizes.
We also have lots of jute. A 100g bag of jute should last awhile. It all depends on how much your birds use to build a nest.
Best suggestion I can offer is to start with the 100 g bags and see how long it lasts. Then, you'll have a better idea of how much you'll need to purchase at a time.
