Hi All,

I am in the market for a pair of male Owl Finches. I live near Chicago, but through online searching have not been able to find any local breeders or pet stores that have them. I have been considering getting them through The Finch Farm online, but would prefer finding them locally if possible.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Have you tried to look up any Bird Clubs in your area? If you can find a club, they may be able to get you in touch with some breeders in your area.

Sometimes you can find some in pet stores though this is rare, I found one of mine there but it was quite and adventure, and I found my other one online from a local breeder which is probably the easiest way to find some.
