I currently have my full spectrum lights on a timer that is plugged into my main outlet on the wall. IT KEEPS RESETTING. I don't know why! The time will reset and the programed times to turn on and off will be removed. It happens randomly. It's just a GE timer I got at walmart instead of a specific reptile timer.
Do you guys have any timers you use that you find works well and is reliable? I need help!

Could it be that you are having power surges or power outages?

I deliberately don't use digital timers for same reason, you can also get a mechanical plug in timer which is type i use without any issues.
Mine looks like this (UK plug) but only cost €5 in local hardware

Some digital timers are designedto operate randomly, so it looks like someone is living in a house when the house is actually empty.
