How to Clean Manzanita perches ?

Post by JerseyGuy » Wed Jun 29, 2016 7:21 am

have 2 Manzanita perches in my Finch cage. I see there are a lot of products on the market for Cleaning, but which one is the best one to use on these perches ?

I just use soap and hot water--Dawn original--and rinse well. Set them out on kitchen counter to air dry, and that is it. I use a lot of natural branches cut from my yard, and those I just toss and replace.

I soak perches in virkon S or bleach and water. I keep extra parches around and replace the one needing to be cleaned with a new one while the other is being washed.
