Numbskulls, sounds like a bird species, should be for mine

Post by FinchGrinch » Fri Dec 23, 2016 3:17 pm

Numbskull Finches! I get them a new bath because my current one is too shallow and they splash everywhere. So I find one on Amazon that has a deeper bottom to it and its kind of a translucent amber. Dumb butt birds start to build a nest in it right on top of the water! So I put in a nesting box to satisfy the need and take out the bath. Now they are trying to build a nest but dont know where to put it. Ive got hay all over the place now. I even put hay in the nesting box and they are pulling it out. So I figure ok ill give them the new bath dry and let them build in it. It actually makes a pretty cool nesting box because you can see through it. Now they are all jumping in it and looking confused like " where's the water?".

Im just beside myself. :?
