I ordered some close-ringed plastic bands for society finches, but I'm starting to think they may be too small and could constrict blood flow. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you. I compared the bands to the one on my male and they seemed fine, but the nestlings wouldn't stay still enough for me to put them on in a timely manner. It looks like most are pied, so I should be able to differentiate them without the bands.
