Would it be ok to try to give my society finches some
Cold fruit juice from the frig?
They r very finicky eaters
And with the current heat wave and my place got to 91 inside today
I'm trying to come up with ways to keep them cool.

I really like the cold stuff to help cool me so I thought maybe be ok and helpful for them ?

They really loved bathing last yr but being really difficult this year.

I just had the most wonderful visual of society finches covered in sticky popsicles! If only they had tongues to lick them as the grandkids do!

They actually do have tongues, which are rough and pointy...lol.
That said, I don't think they would quite get the idea of popsicles, and would probably stick to them

Our African Gray LOVES ice cubes! Whenever she sees us with a glass of ice she is right there begging for and Ice cube. SHe flies back to her cage with it, and sits on top. She won't let go of the cold cube until it is gone. She bites it, and shakes her head so the water drops fly everywhere.
