So got cocktiel couple days ago and when I got it it attacked the guy the pet shop guy but I just presumed it was the way he grabbed it but since it's been home it seems like it's mental or somet it shakes like mad and walks round the cage in circles and circles also it hasn't eaten any of its food only two bites of millet also when I put my hand near the cage it sqwarks and tries to attack me

I think you mentioned it in another thread already.

It sounds like this bird is absolutely terrified of people. Possibly has been miss handled by pet shop people or former owners.

If it's walking around in circles, it may have been in a small round cage and that's all it knows to do.

It's cage was a reactangle made of wood with a bar front to be homest I don't know if I have the time to tame it I'm now thinking why it was worth £30 when the other three pet shops where £60

Can you return it?
Breeder cockatiels, which is what this sounds like, aren't really good pets. They want only to be with other cockatiels, not like a hand-raised bird that enjoys human company. I imagine it's very stressed, misses its mate, and is scared of you at the same time. It will calm over time, but whether it will be happy I can't say. I've seen a few single pet cockatiels that accept their situation and live many years but never become comfortable being around people and seem a little crazy as a result of their isolation.

Poor birdie....

Sounds like your dad is more into this bird than you are.

Maybe try and find it a home with someone who has Cockatiel experience, and other Cockatiels.
