I have a guy from the pet shop I get most my things from and he asked can he have two of my bengalease chicks. as I told him they are 4weeks old and he said can i have them in another 3 weeks because his breeder hasn't had many this time and he's very short on them only has about 7 in the shop so I said yes but I'm just wondering if they can go at 7weeks because they are still smaller than the mum and dad also they are good with people and allow you to hold them so are they worth only £2

They are both flying great around the house tho and eatening by there selves

Once they are eating and drinking by themselves, they are fine to go to their new homes.

Oh right really surprised me that I might take them this weekend then because they keep pulling the nesting material back out of the nests of the zebras and it's parents

Yea, once they are completely weaned, they are ready for their new homes...
Very different from certain species (like Gouldians), who take months before they can be homed.

Yeh well these bengalease chicks are quite independent so I'll be taking them this weekend I though it had to be over 6 week

Make 100% sure that these chicks are no longer being fed by the parents, and that they are eating and drinking on their own. This is very important, otherwise they may die of hunger and thirst at the pet shop.

They are considered fully weaned, once the parents are refusing to feed them any longer, and once you observe that they are both eating and drinking independently.

Your chicks aren't going to learn anything by doing that, and may be injured or killed by the Zebras. I certainly would not be taking any birds into a situation where you had trouble before.

And one of the zebras was adopted by these chicks parents so it's good with the society's and even sleeps in the same bed
