Can anyone tell if this is a female or male? Almost 2 months old.

From the colour of the beak and legs, I would "guess" a girl.
However... does he/she sing?

The beak is actually a little brighter than the picture shows.

The beak is too orange for a male!

If this bird doesn't sing, I would say it's a girl.

Thanks everyone. I have her alone in a cage that is divided. I don't want her to be alone but don't want to breed her. If I put another female in will they get along?

Here is a better picture from above so you can see the tail markings and color of beak. Color is more accurate in this photo.

lisa64 oh the beak actually looks red now haha but you said it doesn’t sing so must probably a girl, anyway I think there’s just 50/50 chance she will get along fine with Another female sometimes they end up being great with each other and then they go horrible haha  goodluck

Almost certainly a hen :-BD

The biggest give away is the colour of the beak being orange and not red

Don't quite get what yer referring too Elana,

Look at the top pic and the beak is bright orange, yes ok in the second pic the beak possibly looks a little more red but don't forget it's all to do with light and camera and not forgetting the pic has been taken from above

Basically it's a hen
