Does anyone know the correct address and fees for membership in NFSS? I have an old application with an address of 918 Georgia Ave, Etowah, Tn. on it, but don't know if the information is outdated. I did not receive a reply from the email, and there is no phone # listed. Thank you for any replies.

wildbird The dues for NFSS membership for one person are $30 per year, or $35 per year for a dual membership, plus there are other options. You can check it all out at this link:

http://nfss.org/join/

You can download an application, and it has a current mailing address for our treasurer, Sara Roberts, and then our membership director is informed. We have a new membership director, Laura Watkins. The address you had on the old application is outdated.

This link has all the official contact email addresses for NFSS:

I think you will enjoy being a member of NFSS! One of the best benefits is the closed bands that are sold, and these are traceable. Our band director keeps records on all the bands she sells. In addition, if you decide to show birds, there are benefits to the birds having an approved closed band.

Sally, Thank you for the information, much appreciated. I also received an email from Laura Watkins. The application I have looks the same, so just the mailing address is different. I look forward to learning more about finches as a member.
