Single female zebra finch ?

I had a pair of zebras and today morning my male flew away from window. Its night and he still didnt came. Would i be able to keep my female alone? I dont want to buy any new finches.Also unlike my male she is partly tame(doesnt fly away and sits on finger).

farhan97 oh no so has he vanished and don’t suspect he’s gone for ever give it about a week to wait and see if he comes back keep putting the hen out in the cage and see if he flys back

Oh no! So sorry he escaped! One of my male zebra finches escaped not too long ago too. In my experience they never come back once they’re gone as I never saw my little guy again. Usually once they’re gone they would just go for it and then they wouldn’t have a clue of which way is home. Glad you got your female another female for company.
