Introducing a new finch

I'm planning to buy my female zebra finch a male sometime this week, will either finch be aggressive? My female used to be aggressive to another female zebra finch, but they were fine within a day. Or should I just buy a new female?

I couldn't tell you if they'll be aggressive, but sex shouldn't matter much when it comes to aggression. Reorganize the cage before adding the new bird, and there should be less fighting. Adding additional food and water dishes may also reduce aggression. If you don't want breeding, another female will be easier.

Thanks. I'm currently looking for some breeders, I'm going to buy a female.
