Times of year that finches are most available?
I am guessing that there are certain months of the year that finches are more available than others. What months would they be, when are they the least availalbe and how does it vary from different varieties?

If you fill in your profile, it would help in answering your question, since it does vary from country to country, and even by species. Many of the African species that have been recently imported to the US still stick with their schedule in Africa, so they are breeding in our winter--that makes the babies available in our summer or fall. Some species, like Zebras and Societies, can be bred any time of the year in the US, so they are available year round. Gouldians can be bred about any time, except during their molting period, so breeders often try to manipulate this to accommodate their schedule.
