Lixit water bottles -

Just got 2 Zebra finches today, and want to use the Lixit bottle for water...so how do I "train" them to use the bottle, while I keep the water dish in order to make sure they get some water....

I have always hear that you should hang the water bottle right next to their present water source and within a few days they normally try it out because of curiosity. Once you start seeing them both drink from it, remove the original water source. I think with zebras they should figure it out pretty fast, they are normally willing to try new stuff as opposed to other species.
