Injured beak after night fright.

Hi guys. Last night the zebras had a night fright. I do use a night light but we all know how night frights can be.
This morning I noticed that one of them has an injured beak. The top part of her beak looks like it might be dented in and there's a little black mark on it.
Does the beak repair itself over time? It doesn't interfere with her eating and she acts the same. I tried to get a picture but she wouldn't sit still.

OH Sorry about that....... I would not worry about it too much if the bird is acting normally and eating well.

I agree with Donna, if the bird is eating, drinking and acting normal - just try to give it some peace and quiet. Don't bother taking pictures of it - it will just stress it out more and the bird doesn't need that right now.

Glad to hear it survived.

Thank you Donna and Liz. I've had the budgies and the finches go through night frights before but this is the first time one got hurt.
I have no idea what set them off. I was awake and they just started flapping around the cage suddenly. Thanks again.
