Hey James,
I will not be going to this fair :( I am not in need of anything right now and I am pretty much homebound due to handfeeding. I would like to make it to this fair someday. It is at least a 4 hour drive for me. So 8 hours of driving and a couple at the show just will not work at this time.
Have you noticed there just doesn't seem to be any finch people in our area :( If you go let me know what I missed. Have Fun :D

I hate that your not gonna be able to make it i was hoping to see ya there. But i understand your situtaion, i have been in many situations that made me have to miss a show or two. I am definently going to the show tomorrow and i will let you know how it was. I have saved up a good amount for this time around at the show. Last time i only had $300 with me this time i saved up $800 for this show but i dont think that i will be spending it all  but i just have to wait and see. I hope i dont get overly excited and spend all of it. But this money was meant specifically for the show anyways.

Im hoping that since there wil be more breeders at this fair that they will have very decent prices that way i wil bring home everything im lookoing for. I am gonna be looking for blue faced parrots, yellow stars, strwberries and blue backed goulds. My baby goulds are all colored up pretty that i think i wil keep 5 and get blue goulds for mates because i really wanted blue goulds. Im very excited to atually go to a real bird show, the one here in Pensacola is small and not a very good selection.

Good idea about keeping your gouldians you bred. That way when you set them up you know some history on them, plus they are already adjusted to your enviroment and foods. Many times they will settle down and be better breeders. I think too many breeders sell their stock so they don't know what they really have (unless of course they bought them from a breeder who furnished these records)
I was just thinking that if I had not paired my offsprings up with each other I would of never known I had blues :!: 3 blues were thrown by one pair of RH PB GB pair And on BH PB GB hen with a RH PB GR cock. I had no idea either of thier parents were split to blue.
I can't wait until they color up...they are baby grey right now. The same parents are on eggs again so maybe more will be hatched :D

I am soo excited for you. The gouldians sound like a good variety of genes to pair with yours :D Nuns are neat birds...can't wait to see pictures. What else did you see? Did I miss much?
Curious as to what you paid for the goulds...PM me if you will and was the breeder a familiar one or a new one?
