Gouldian question on singing

I just bought what the breeder said was a non related male and female
Gouldian pair. Well the supposedly female one sounds like she is singing. Do the hens make any type of sound at all maybe ?? The male is not making any noises right now but he is a little nervous from the move probably. They are both young and she is not as of right now in breeding condition. Beak is still red.
I did read somewhere that the female would make some sort of tweeting noises. I sure hope so. She is a RH/WB so I do not have the breast color to go by.

The females do short chirps - usually two to three chirps in a row.. it's like.. WEET WEET WEET.

They do not "sing," where they puff up and sit up really tall and sing.
If your "hen" is doing that, then it is a male.

So the males will kind of do what the Spice males do, with their necks stretched and standing tall, or not to the extreme??

The males look like this when they sing -

It is more exaggerated when they are courting, and they also hop up on and down and point their tails towards the hen.
The whole thing usually starts with pointed tails, and bowing/shaking heads, then they pop up and start singing and dancing.

Heheh. Its so awesome to watch. My little guy puffs up like a balloon and sticks his chest out SOOO far and then cocks his head back and belts out his tune. Its a series of ups and downs and rapid tweets. I think I counted 6 distinctly different sounds that my male gould makes when singing. Also, in my case, the males song is incredibly quiet.
