I am about to buy two birds and want to know how fabulous of a deal I am getting. (I think it's good) lol
I will be buying 1 male dilute, and 1 male yellowback. They are both under 1yr and have just finished their first molt. The breeder said 60.oo for the dilute, 80.oo for the yellow OR both for 125.oo!
(I will be getting both!)
What do breeders usually sell these color varieties for? She is a breeder but does it in her home and has about 15 pairs. Her birds get all of the best in food, suppliments, and medications. She treats them like her babies.

Buy both, not only because it is a good deal but it sounds like it's the kind of breeder that you would want to buy from
Post pics when you get home with them

Oh, I know she's an awesome person AND breeder because I've bought/ traded from her before. I bought a female gould from her about 2 months back, and I swapped birds with her too, She gave me 2 Shafttails for 2 of my African Silverbills. She's super nice.
I just was curious if this was the usual going rate with breeders. I thought it seemed like a super good deal.

It's a pretty good deal!!!
I would ordinarily charge $110 for SF Yellow males (which includes Dilutes) and DF Yellow males starting at $135.

I purchased my dilute for $60, but not from a breeder. I thought it was a fantastic deal when I bought him!

Thanks Misty! I can't take credit, there are some others on the site that do it also. I stole the idea because I thought it was cute as also.

Yes indeed they are pretty.

Is that society considered a saddleback?

I think pretty close. I think the saddlebacks have a triangular marking on their back? Believe it or not, this little hen came from two
solid white parents.

The birds are beautiful. Will you house the pairs together? If so, you could let them choose their mate.
