Hi to all ! All is well with the baby Silverbills..but have some questions again !! I see them eating millet and some seeds I put in the bottom of the cage but, they still beg and the mother and the society still feed them,is that normal? and when can I take them out of the cage and put them in another cage alone ?I can still tell them apart,but thier beaks are changing colour and i don't want to confuse them with their parents!
I have also 4 little baby Zebras just a week old(so cute) I am wondering, can I pull the nest and the parents out and put them in another cage? There is another male that is allways trying to go into their nest and is fighting with the dad of these Zebras....he has made him bleed and I would like to get this little family out to another cage and be in peace!

If possible, rather than disrupt the breeding zebras, I would remove the aggressive bird to a separate cage until the zebra babies are weaned.

You should probably leave the silverbill babies in with the adults who are feeding them until they are no longer begging. It is normal for birds which are learning to eat on their own to still need/want supplemental feedings from their parents.

If you can find colored split bands, you could band the babies so that you will be able to tell them apart from the adults.

Yes that might be a better idea to move the male instead of all the little family lol The only thing is that I see that this male and his hen just laid an egg in their nest !! I'me watching thing's closely and will see but if I have to, can I move one of the family's to another cage ? If so, wich one ??
