I love the Cordon Bleu's song. Unfortunately I lost my pair this past winter.
I also enjoy the Strawberries, but it can be annoying to some as he likes to start in very early in the morning. Like, before dawn.
Some canaries are wonderful while others are loud and get on your nerves. You have to shop around and listen to the bird sing before you buy.
The Gouldians song is soft and very soothing.

These are not commonly available, but the Grey Singing finch and Green Singing finches have wonderful, canary-like songs.
I like my Stars song. If you don't have other birds to drown out their song, the Gouldians song is soft and sweet.

I'm also very partial to the male Cordon Bleu's song, though mine never sang (and I don't think TammieB's did either) until after my female had passed. Now, he's in a cage with 9 other birds, and sings very frequently.

I personally think that societies have a funny, sweet little song.

When ever the pintail wydahs at work sing it's alway very pretty....though they don't sing that often anymore. I don't think they're very happy right now.

I love the sound of gouldians and of spice finches. Spice finches don't really have a song, though, they just have the nicest tweet tweet tweet.

I actually have a spice that sings his little heart out all the time (to his SISTER!)!

Hi - I find that my male blue-faced parrot finch has a lovely canary type song ( not quite the same volume though! ) but I am not sure if they are readily available where you are. Also lots of people seem to enjoy the noises made by zebra finches although it isnt singing !! - just beeps and chirps

SueRus, lovely star finch picture. My fav is my star's song, he's my bugle boy, he starts before the alarm goes off. I just bought a blue-cap and he's quite the singer. I love to whistle through my teeth at my Gouldians and they all start posturing and singing to me.

One of my favorites is probably the orange cheek waxbills songs. Although, he always does it when I'm not looking. It is really beautiful!

I find that having any of the beautiful little finches in my home is great - Singers or Not "singer" they all make the house sound like Spring!
