This site has helped me out tremendously over the last year or so that I've been a member here... I've joined some random finch groups on facebook and have been really shocked at the poor advice given to people on there... This includes several bizarre "old fashioned" techniques, poor understanding of genetics and people recommending inbreeding!
I'm so glad that this forum was my first main source for information and we are fortunate to have such responsible breeders her to share information. I'm hoping to use the information I've learned here to recommend alternative methods to this poor advice I've seen and hopefully help the birds in the long run.

Brian, I'm sure Crystal will appreciate your comments. She worked so hard to set up this site, and it has evolved into the best finch forum on the internet, IMO.
I first found the Finch Information Center, which led me to this forum. I liked what I saw, and I have learned so much here and continue to learn. But what really makes this a great forum is the membership and all their contributions. I think we have a wonderful family here, a place where I can feel I am among friends.

The site was recommended to me in the beginning and it is just about all I use for reference - other than my Bird Club buddies - Sally included- that I can call for advise! Lots to be said about good old-fashioned experience! I am blessed to have some great experts with tons of experience here locally.

This forum
is the
best and I would be happy to shout this over the mountains doing cartwheels, back flips, and somersaults. When I have leisurely time, this forum is my second home away from home. Simply the best!

God is my redeemer and it is through Him I have found eternal happiness. I am grateful, I am blessed, and I am truly loved. I wish all this and more for all members of our finch forum family. May you all be blessed and highly favored.
